EMS Electrode Pads

EMS electrode pads, also known as TENS pads, are conductive components that serve as the interface between an electrical stimulation machine (TENS or EMS unit) and the user's skin. They deliver electrical impulses to targeted areas for purposes such as pain relief, muscle relaxation, and muscle stimulation. They come in various shapes, sizes, and connection types to suit different needs and devices.

For proper use, ensure your skin is clean, dry, and free from lotions or oils before application. For optimal conductivity, the treatment area should be free from body hair. During treatment, place two or four pads directly across or close to the pain area, ensuring they don't touch each other but are not too far apart. For maintenance, handle pads gently, clean them with a moist cloth if they lose stickiness, and store them on their plastic sheet or in a ziplock bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Replace pads approximately every 30 days or when they no longer adhere effectively.

When selecting EMS electrode pads, consider the adhesive quality (look for durable hydrogel adhesives), the size and shape that best fits the treatment area, and compatibility with your TENS or EMS machine (checking connection types like press stud or pin connectors). If you have sensitive skin or allergies, opt for hypoallergenic adhesive options or silicone rubber pads that can be secured with bandage tape.
